I was slightly dissapointed by the new Avatar movie, but some parts really got some points up. xD I think it lacked some of the humor Avatar usually throws at us all the time (though there still were some reeeally funny parts), and Azula barely even talked...She had maybe two lines. And there was no snarkiness when she battled Aang, I was kind of like..Okay...But the fight itself was awesome. The silence of them was almost as if it was making the battle intense or something, so it was good. And the new moves were great too. xD

Oh, and there were tons of plot holes, which made me dislike the movie a lot more...But, whatever, it's a kids show.

Overall, I'd give the movie a 7 or 8 out of ten. The 1st movie I'd give a 9.

I made some notes about suspicious things that have been happening ever since my grandpa died. Please help me understand all of this and give me a theory of what he's trying to say once you've read everything.

SPIRITS

Brian see's a figure in the kitchen walking towards him while sleeping on the couch in Aunt Maria's house. He tries to focus on it, but it dissapears.

While sleeping with Pricilla at his house, Brian feels cold breathing on his neck. He tries to scream Pricilla's name, but it only came in whispers. She finally hears him and asks what's wrong. He tells her what happened, and she says that her back was turned to him and she was facing the wall, therefore it wasn't her. Pricilla is scared by this. We think it's an old girlfriend of Brian's seeking revenge on Pricilla because she is jealouse of her.

Luis hears a couple clicks of the oven, then turns and see that it is turned on. He goes up stairs to tell his older sister Christina this, but stops short when he hears plastic bags rustling in the basement. His mom walks in from the back door and calls for them to come down stairs. She tells them that grandpa was killed.

We think that grandpa is haunting Aunt Maria's house. The figure Brian saw was probably grandpa, and the stove and bags thing was most likely him too.

DREAMS

Celina is the youngest out of 8 children, she has the first dream after grandpa dies. She says she saw him in the same clothing he was wearing when he was attacked. She remembers talking to him, and remembers him telling her that everything will be okay, and that I'm always watching you and will always be with you.

Rocio has the next dream. She said she saw herself, Maria, my mom, (Juan or Carlos, I don't remember), and grandpa sitting around a circle table. He said to them, "One of you will be next."

Mom has the same exact dream as Rocio.

Pricilla has the same exact dream as Rocio and Mom, but she is not at the circle table.

I have two dreams. The first one was pleasent. I saw my grandpa in the same clothing he wore when he was attacked by the policemen. He was smiling at me while he stood in front of his house. The second dream was very heart-wrenching. My mom's side of the family were at this fancy party. I saw my grandpa stand up from a table with a white cloth on top of it, with no silverwear or plates, and he was holding the hand of a young woman in a pretty white dress. I noticed then that grandpa seemed younger too, plus he was wearing a brown suit. I remember running up to him, and pleading for him to come home. He turned his back on me and continued to dance with the lady in the white dress. I was crying, and I was on my knees. I realized that he didn't care about us anymore, and he didn't care that he had a wife that missed him so much.

Picnic-ish Thing

On Sunday we went to my Aunt Maria's house for a picnic. My mom's side of the family. It was kind of weird that she would make a party like this, because I remember when my grandpa was killed, she said all these horrible things to the rest of the family, like...You'll be next. Or, I hope you're next. But at the picnic she seemed normal...But when I got there, I saw my 19-year old cousin there, Pricilla, and her boyfriend. Seeing them both there was an extra ten pounds of awkwardness, because Pricilla had been lying to her mom, saying that she was staying with her friend for three to four months when she was really staying with her boyfriend. And she got pregnant during that time, so I'm going to be an Aunt-ish person...They seem happy and such, and the boyfriend (whose name is Brian) is nice, but a lazy bum. Nobody talked to Pricilla about the baby, only my Aunt Raquel did, and I joined in since an adult talked about it. I said I'd be happy to babysit him/her. But my mom was touchy when I was around Brian and Pricilla. She said not to get Brian anything, because he was sitting on his ass all day. She said it's bad to get it on with some before they were married. I just like..Nodded at everything. I didn't know what to say. I mean, as long as Pricilla is happy, that's all that matters, right?

My mom is talking to my grandma on the phone at this moment. They're speaking in Spanish, so I can only make out a few words and sentances. I want to type up what I hear in english from their conversation, because my mom is crying when she's talking, so it only means it can't be good. But before I went upstairs to turn on my compy, I asked mom why she was crying. She said her stomach hurt and she was asking grandma for a recepie to help her.

1. "Bree is asking why you're crying." (then grandma hangs up, I go upstairs, and they get back on the phone))
2. "They're going to see you crying."
3. "The girl child will see you cry."
4. "Joliet, in Joliet."
5. "She is upstairs, but she could understand Spanish."
6. "Don't cry mom."

That's all I got 'cause I went upstairs to turn on my compy to type this. When my sister came home, mom hangs up with grandma, and I go down stairs. I ask her what was all that about, and she says that she was crying because her stomach hurt from eating too much last night (she's been loosing a lot of weight, so she doesn't normally eat that much. She has to loose weight because there is too much fat on her liver), and she said grandma was crying because she was remembering grandpa (the one who was killed by police officers). I didn't really believe her stomach really hurt, but I believed grandma was crying. I bet she was feeling bad because she didn't go with my mom and her sister Rocio to see grandpa at the cemetary. I dunno, but all this seems a little fishy to me.

Every year my town has this Carnival called "Keepataw Days" come to Lemont (my town) for only a weekend. Well, me, Elisa, and Jessica (my friends) were hanging around there and stuff. We were waiting until it got dark because going on the rides at night is a lot more fun than in day. So I asked them to come with me to my mom and dad's car so that I can leave my sweater there. While we were walking out of the carnival, a group of 10 or 15 preps came around the corner. When they passed us, they said "I'm ninja?" all preppy like. You know, with the mocking tone and annoying voice. Jessica and I were wearing the same shirt that said "I'm ninja (you can't see me)". I didn't have any other clean shirts, so I had to wear it. Like right after they said that, another one said "Thank you for not stabbing me." And we passed on. Neither of us said anything, but I was really kicking myself for not saying something. After we passed them, I came up with a bunch of things I could have said back.

1. "Sure, I'll stab you."
2. "Sure, I'll stab you." -stuck up two middle fingers-
3. "I'll be my pleasure to stab you." -grin evilly-
4. "Holy shit, a herd of prostitutes! We might get AIDS!"
5. "(bitches or whores) -stick up middle finger-
6. "Nice clothes. I bet your job as a prostitute pays very well. You must get a lot of clients."
7. "It'd be so nice to stab you. That way you could die and no one would ever have to see your fucked up face ever again. I usually ask for 50$ for this kind of favor, but seeing that your in desperate need of a stab, I'll ask for 10 bucks."

When we went back to the carnival, I was slightly looking for them so that I could tell them off. I was in the mood for making people suffer, so I came up with another line if I saw them again.

8. "Wassup bizitches. Remember me? Good. I was just thinking about what you said a while ago, and It really made me think. What, you may ask? I was thinking of how rude I was to deprieve you of such a previledge to be stabbed by me. So, you want me to go ahead and stab you, or do you have second thoughts?" -reaches into pocket, pretending I have a knife-

So yeah, that's what happened. ^__^

I haven't really talked about what's going in in my life in my journal yet, so here it goes...

My parents are very important to me. Yes, I fight and yell with them, but it doesn't mean I don't love them. I get easily attached to things and won't let go of something, and it just so happens that my parents are just that. I seriously love them to death, no matter what happens. But it seems like for the past three or four weeks, my mom's been going through probably the toughest time in her life. Her Salon is falling apart, piece by piece. Her employees are quiting (and the rest that are there are complete assholes), money problems are begining to arise...And because of all this, mom's been coming home everyday in tears. I can't stand to see my mom that way. I luff her. v_v And though I try to help her all I can, it never seems to work...Clearly, my mother is depressed. And as I keep thinking about that one word that my mother has become, I'm afraid to think ahead of what could happen. It's possible that she could commit suicide, one of my worst fears at the moment. Or she and dad could get a divorce. Dad works at the salon two times a week after his normal job, because they don't have enough receptionists. He doesn't know what to do either, or how to make mom feel better. And so, they don't really talk about anything else but the Salon, which is driving me nuts. Plus, mom cries at everything that is upsetting, so it's hard for dad to talk to her. I dunno, maybe I'm just exaggerating, but all I know is what is happening now is going to cause a lot more crap in the future. I just hope it doesn't turn out that way.

The next Avatar movie is on September 15. Is that crazy or what? First they expect us to wait weeks for the first movie, and now we have to wait a whole month and a half to watch the next movie. Don't the creators know everyone will be going insane waiting for the new movie, because we all know it's gonna be good? O_O

<lj:music>Fight For All The Wrong Reasons - Nickelback</lj:music>

Remember at the end of "The Blind Bandit", Toph told gAang her dad said that she was free to go with them? And then we see her dad paying her old trainer and that other guy to bring her home because she "ran away"? It makes me wonder who's lying there. OR...Her dad could have told her to go for real, then payed the guys to bring her home...But that doesn't really make any sense. Something tells me Toph is lying, though. Because it seemed like she really wanted to go, and her dad disagreed completely. So maybe she DID run away and told Aang that lie, and her dad found out she was gone. But all that would have to have happened in seconds, because the screen switched back to gAang after Toph's dad said she should be guarded all the time. And that's another thing; if she was going to be guarded at all times, then Toph's dad probably would have started right away. So she must have had to fight them off. Wow, either she's really fast, or there's something else going on. Oh, and the episode DID leave off with a cliffhanger of the two guys agreeing to take the money and find Toph...I bet we'll see those two later on, maybe after the two movies.

Sounds reeeeally good to me. xD I mean, "Aang's Fury"? That's GOT to spark some interest. xP

Went on vaction for three weeks in West Virginia. I know what you're thinking: You mean cornland? What is there to do over there? Cow-tipping? Well, it was more for family then fun, but we still had lots of fun. ^^ My two older cousins live down there, and they have, what my smaller cousins call, "the fun house". xD So it wasn't that bad, but I was bored sometimes. Just got home today..About two hours ago. Ten hour drive. Ouch. x___x

My stupid dvd player didn't record "Bitter Work" on Friday for some reason. I was out, so I had no idea. You couldn't imagine how pissed I was at the thing. -sigh- Well, there is a possitive side to all this. Avatar plays the new episode in the morning at 12 and 12:30, so that's good. xD I just can't screw up and forget about it, or else I'll have to watch the episode on you tube.

    <lj:music>I'm Still Here - John Rezeznik</lj:music>

Wowie, I'm a little late at saying this, but I thought "The Chase" was awesome! xD The enemies working together at the end was kind of exciting; Azula was so owned! Over all, the battle at the end was fantastic. I think Iroh's going to die, but I read some place on LJ that he's in a coma. -shrug- I'm not sure, but I hope he doesn't die! ;__; Zuko would go psycho and hunt Azula down...But that could be interesting to watch. xP Anywho, I thought Katara was pretty harsh in this episode. She should have cut Toph some slack, since she DID leave everything behind just to teach Aang earthbending...But at least she admitted she was being a big meaneh. xP

I also read some where that there's going to be an Avatar movie in June...Or was it July? Eh, I'm not sure, but I hope it'll be good. I only wished they based it off of the second seasons, cause Toph's in it and Zuko looks awesome with hair. xD

I'm so excited for tonight, I can't wait to see the new Avatar episode! I mean, Zuko, Azula, AND Aang in the same place? This is really going to be a good fight! And Toph! Why the hell did Katara say she was unhelpful and selfish in the preview? I want to knooooow. v__v Graaaah I wish time could fly faster, but I doubt that'll ever happen since it's still 9:37 in the morning. x__x Alas, I will have to contain my excitment until 7. -sigh- That'll be hard.
